Today I am going to be doing another first impressions post. This time it is for a product that the whole world raves about, yep, its time to talk about the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. Lets do this.
If you say my recent Beauty Haul, you will know that I brought this about a month ago and I have been using it ever since I brought it. I can honestly understand why everyone loves this concealer so much. It is brilliant. It just works so brilliantly. It covers literally everything. Discolouration, spots, dry skin, flaws. No matter what it is, this concealer covers it. And it blends beautifully. But, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Lets dissect this a bit
first, I want to talk about the coverage. This concealer works miracles. I don’t have terrible skin, but I don’t have the best either. I rarely have like full on break outs, but I do get just odd spots, that tend to be fairly large and noticeable I have quiet dry skin and I quiet often get dry patches, particularly around this time of year (central heating I the bane of my existence), but other then that, my skin isn’t too bad. So for me, I need a concealer that will properly disguise spots and dry skin, this one does that. It effortlessly covers it all, I love it. It hides any spot, no matter how red, and it covers dry skin, without emphasising it (which many concealer do), it is brilliant. The best coverage I have ever found in a concealer.
I love the consistency of this one as well. I wasn’t sure the first time I used it, but it has defiantly grown on me. The reason why I was a little bit unsure is because it is a bit thick. Thicker then I am used to at least. So obviously, I was worried that I had made a terrible mistake, but no. it actually works in its favour. Because it is slightly thicker it covers better, but, it still blends brilliantly. It is just brilliant. It honestly just blends perfectly, it looks so natural. And it is surprisingly lightweight. It just sits so nicely on your skin.
Not only is it brilliant for covering your blemishes and all that, it also wears really well. A lot of concealers tend to wear off fairly easily. I normally find it to be the first thing to go, but this one lasts really well. It still looks as good at the end of the day as it did at the start.
For covering blemishes, this is now my favourite concealer It is just so perfect. I love it. Brilliant coverage, brilliant wear, brilliant feel, just an really good concealer And it is such good value for money. Its like £4.50 for a tube of this stuff . I have defiantly found a make-up bag must have. I love this stuff.
