Dash And Lily’s Book Of Dares by David leviathan and Rachel Cohen

if you are looking for a book that will make you smile, laugh and fall in love, then this is the one for you. The story revolves around two 16-year-olds, Dash and Lily, who have never met, but share a lot in common. Set over the Christmas period, you watch as the pair communicate with each other through a little red notebook, filled with dares, and slowly fall for each other. I love this book. The characters are absolutely adorable, the story is incredible and several times I found myself laughing out loud on trains because of it. The sequel, The Twelve Days Of Dash And Lily is also worth a read, although it isn’t quite as good as the first one.

What Light by Jay Asher

This little book is guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit. You follow 17-year-old Sierra as she takes the annual month-long trip to California to help her parents run their Christmas tree lot, but this year, things take an unexpected turn in the form of Caleb. This is a story of friendship, family, and love. And most importantly, Christmas This story is so gripping and loveable and at only 300 pages, it is a very easy, quick read. I listened to it as an audiobook and got through it in a day, I could not put it down. As soon as I finished it, I wanted to buy a Christmas tree farm!

Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle

I love this book. It is a collection of three short stories, each one of which is a holiday romance. And all of whom overlap and intertwine with each other. This is a brilliant collection. All three stories are such good reads. They are all light and fluffy and festive. You cannot help but fall in love a little bit while reading this book. It has everything you could ever wish for in a Christmas book. Cute couples, lot of laughs, a snowstorm, festive cheer, a dozen cheerleaders and even a teacup pig. What more could you wish for?

My True Love Gave To Me by Various

This is a beautiful YA anthology containing 12 short love stories all set over the festive period. There is a story for everyone in this anthology. Each story will leave you wanting more and make you feel super festive. What is brilliant about this is that every story is very different. You have Santa’s daughter, an adorable gay couple, Krampus, a young arsonist, the cutest couple in existence and so much more. Also, the stories are scattered over the whole festive period, some at Christmas, some at new year’s, some throughout the whole season. This is such a lovely book and such a brilliant way to discover new authors. I have read it twice and I loved it just as much the second time around. Kind of tempted to read it this year as well.

My New Crush Gave To Me by Shani Petroff

If you are looking for a fluffy little story that will leave you smiling, this is the one for you. This book follows 17-year-old Charlie as she sets her sights on the school football star, determined to win him over and gain a date for a boxing day party. You follow her are she sets out to be Teo’s secret Santa and enlists the help of her best friend and his cousin to help her give him the best gifts and win him over. But not everything works out the way she expects. This is a really sweet story that had me smiling the whole way through. Yes, it is a bit vain and predictable, but there is something very sweet and festive about it.

And there we have it. All of these books are incredible. Just so sweet and festive and just packed full of love. All of them will make you smile and feel your Christmas joy. What is your favorite fluffy Christmas book? I hope you enjoyed today’s post and I’ll see you all again tomorrow
