April Wrap Up And May TBR

Hey Guys!

We are at the end of another month, and that means that it is time or another monthly wrap up and TBR post. I honestly can’t believe how quickly this year is going by. But anyway, let’s get to it!

April was a mixed bag for me, reading wise. Towards the start of the month I made the decision to cut back on how many books I am reading as I wasn’t really enjoying reading anymore. I was having to force myself to pick up books. so I made the decision to halve the amount of books that I am reading, 1 a week instead of 2, and I am really starting to enjoy reading again. Obviously however this does mean that I have read a lot less books this month then usual, but I don’t mind. I am happy. So, here is what I read.

Daisy Jones And The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid star 4

Nutshell by Ian McEwan star 2

Mary Poppins by P L Travis star 4

White Cat by Holly Black star 3

Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater star 5

And that’s it really. As you can see I read significantly less books this month but I really don’t mind. And now, here are the books that I am planning to read in May. Once again I am setting myself a very small TBR in the hope that I can actually get to all the books on it again. So, here are the books that I am hoping to read.

The Near Witch by V E Schwab

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

On The Come Up by Angie Thomas

And that is everything that I am hoping to read in the month of May. I am really enjoying having a bit more freedom to pick and choose what I want to read, when I want to read it. it is definitely helping me fall back in love with reading. What books are you hoping to read in May? Are any of mine on your list? I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again very soon.
