First Impressions: Soap And Glory, Christmas Collection

Hey Guys!

Welcome to day 10 of Blogmas! Can you believe we are already 10 days into December? It doesn’t seem possible! Oh well, since we are somehow 10 days in, I think it is time for another festive first impressions post. And today it is for Soap And Glory. Let’s do this!

You may find this hard to believe, but I have never used a Soap And Glory product before. At least not that I know of. For some reason, it isn’t a brand that I have ever had much to do with. that is until now. When I saw that they did a limited edition Christmas scent, I knew that it was the perfect time to test their products out. I got a little set that contains a body butter and a body wash, both in the limited edition scent, Naughty but Spice.

I don’t like this scent. I am going to be completely honest. I just don’t like it. it is a really strange scent. Apparently it is supposed to be spiced plum or something, but I don’t like it. it is really artificial and within seconds of using this product it instantly gave me a headache. I just really don’t like it. it doesn’t feel festive, it isn’t particularly nice, it is actually kind of strange. I am disappointed by it.

It is a shame that I dislike the scent so much as I really like the actual product. I have used the body butter more than the wash, and it is really nice. It is quite a soft, lotion-y butter, which is nice. It means that it doesn’t feel heavy on your skin. It absorbs really quickly and leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. It is definitely moisturising and I really like it. hopefully I will be able to find a Soap And Glory scent that I like so that I can use this body butter. I really like it. I also do like the body wash, although I have only used it once. it lathered up quite easily and did the job. Left my skin feeling clean but also fairly soft. But again, I was put off using it by the scent.

I wouldn’t recommend the Christmas scent, but I would recommend the products. I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again tomorrow.
