It is time for another book tag and this time it is the Spooky Scary Book Tag. So let do this! (once again, I don’t know who originally created this tag, so if you know please comment so that I can give them credit)
What goes bump in the night? Name a book that has legitimately scared you while reading it.
Say Her Name
I have always been freaked out by Bloody Mary and I knew picking up this book probably wouldn’t be the best idea I had ever had and it really wasn’t. I really freaked myself out while reading it and found myself avoiding reflections for weeks…
Jack O’ Lanterns and Classic Costumes: A book you always reach for during Halloween time
Slasher Girls And Monster Boys
I don’t really have a go to Halloween read as I rarely reread, but i do always find myself thinking about Slasher Girls and Monster Boys at Halloween
Black Cats and Magic Mirrors: A book you love that is laced with superstition and/or magic
The Darkest Part Of The Forest
This is a recent read for me but it fits this perfectly! The whole book is based around folklore and magic and superstition and mystery and it is just brilliant!
Witch’s Brew: Favourite witch character in any book/series
This was a tossup between Tonks and Hermione but Tonks won out. She is seriously under appreciated. If you do not love Tonks, we can’t be friends….
Ghouls and Ghosts: A book that still haunts you to this day (good or bad).
A Darker Shade Of Magic
This is one of my all-time favourite book series. I still think about it all the time! I constantly think about this series!
Haunted Graveyard: You’re all alone in a haunted graveyard, you get ONE book to give you comfort, which is it?
Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban
To be fair, any Potter book would bring me comfort, but since POA is my favourite of the series, I had to pick that one
The Undead: Favourite supernatural creatures to read about (i.e. vampires, zombies, werewolves, etc)
Ghosts or Vampires
I don’t really think that I have a favourite supernatural creature that I like reading about. If you had asked me a few years ago I would have said vampires, but I don’t read manty vampire books anymore, so, I am a doing a tossup between vampires and ghosts, but honestly give me any supernatural creatures
In the dead of night: Pick a book with a black cover
The Hunger Games
I have so many black books but I think the covers for The Hunger Games match the theme of the books so perfectly that it had to be them
And there we go. Once again, I won’t be tagging anyone specific but if you want to do this tag, then please consider yourself tagged. I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again very soon.
