Books And Disney Princesses Book Tag

Hey Guys!

I was recently tagged on Instagram to do the Books and Disney Princesses book tag so I decided to do it on here are well. So, let’s do this!

Snow White (beautiful editions you don’t own yet):

The US editions of A Darker Shade Of Magic

This is one of my all-time favourite book series and I absolutely adore it. the US editions of it are stunning and I really, really, need to get myself copies of them

Cinderella (a book that made you feel empowered):

I don’t know how anyone can read this book and not feel even a little bit empowered. This book is the embodiment of girls taking control of their own destiny and standing up for what they believe in. such a great book to make you feel empowered

Aurora (a book with a fabulous villain):

The Immortal Rules

I mean, how can you not love Jackal. He is such a sassy, sarcastic, evil, little bastard. I love him and cannot think of a more fabulous villain

Ariel (a book that takes place on/in/by the sea):

Lady Midnight

I mean, the LA institute is literally on the beach. There is a whole scene that takes place in the ocean. I think this book definitely meets the criteria

Belle (a book that has your ideal library):

It is literally the dream. I could spend my whole life in that library

Jasmine (a book with a brave POC protagonist):

The Hate U Give

Starr, need I say more? that girl in a complete bad ass and I love her! she stands up for what she believes in, no matter how hard it is. She is the embodiment of brave

Mulan (a book with a warrior protagonist):

Wonder Woman Warbringer

she’s fucking wonder woman!

Pocahontas (a book you’d take with you on a camping/wilderness adventure):

Any Book!!!

I don’t think that there is any one book that I would want to take on a camping/wilderness adventure with me. I was inclined to say Harry Potter, but honestly I would be happy with any and every book

Tiana (a book that made you hungry):

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

There is so much yummy food mentioned in this series. I was constantly craving sweet treats while reading it. I actually ended up baking cookies at one point!

Rapunzel (a book with adorable animal sidekicks):

You cannot read this book and not want your very own Reichs! That squirrel cat is pure violence and sarcasm but I bloody love him. Best animal sidekick ever

Merida (a book with a good mother-daughter relationship):

The Raven Boys

I really struggled to think of one for this (slightly worrying. Really says something about parents in YA books) but I think that Blue and Mora have a really good relationship. Yes, they have some issue sbut they are also so close and would do anything for each other.

Anna (a book with inspiring friendships/sisterly bonds):

The Upside Of Unrequited

You’ve got to love Molly and Cassie. I think that they have such a great bond. I know that throughout this book they have some issues and aren’t always there for each other, but ultimately they always have each other’s backs. They are one of the best Sister duos in YA (closely followed by Kath and Wren from Fangirl)

Elsa (a book with a character that fought depression and won):

Forgive Me Leonard Peacock

This whole book focuses around Leonard Peacock and his struggles with depression and desire to kill himself. But ultimately, he fights it and comes through the other side.

And there we have it. that is the Books And Disney Princesses book tag. I don’t do tags very often, but I really enjoy them. I’m not going to tag anyone specific to do this one, but if you want to do it, consider yourself tagged :D. I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again very soon.
