It is time for another first impressions post! And this time it is the turn of another nail product, although today it is for a brand that I have never one a first impressions post for before. And that is the number 7, top coat. Let’s do this!
For the last, probably, 8 years I have exclusively used the Leighton Denny, Crystal Finish, Top Coat but over the last year I have fallen out of love with it. I have started to see issues with it that I hadn’t noticed before, like the fact that it gets a bit gloppy after it has been open for a month or two, that it tends to pick up paint and dye the top coat, the price and more. so I decided to branch out and test a few different brands. And I majorly lucked out with the first one I tried, which is the Number 7 one. It is really good, I really like it. it is quite a, I don’t want to say watery, but watery consistency. Not in a bad way. it is just quiet a liquid-y consistency, which is brilliant! it goes on very smoothly so it doesn’t mess up your paint job or pick up any colour. I love it. not only does it go on nicely, it dries quickly, within a few minutes. It is really good.
But what I love most is how well it wears. I think that it actually wears better than the £15 Leighton Denny one! I can paint my nails on a Sunday evening and my nails still look perfect on the Friday! No chips, no scuffs. Still nice and shiny. I freaking love it! normally my nails only look good for a day or two. And it is only £6 a bottle! I think that I have found a new favourite. A new go to beauty product. It really is good. but I would love to know what your favourite top oat is. Any that I should check out? I have tried Barry M before but low key hated it. oh well, I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again very soon.
