First Impressions: Rimmel Wonder’full Mascara

Hey Guys!

Its first impressions time! This month it is for a type of product that I don’t think I have ever made a first impressions post for and that is Mascara.

Usually I just stick to the exact same mascara, I just buy a new tube of it when it runs out and I have been doing this for literally years. I usually just go for the Maybelline, Colossal mascara. But I haven’t been happy with it for quite a while so I finally decided to give something else a try and went with the Rimmel Wonder’full Mascara.

I am pretty disappointed in this mascara to be honest. It doesn’t really do anything. With my old Maybelline one I basically just needed one coat and I had a lot of volume and definition. But with this one it just doesn’t do that. I need to apply at least three coats before I have any impact and volume at all, and even then it’s not much. and with each layer of this one it starts to clump a little and it just doesn’t look that good.

On the plus side it does last well. Once it is one there, it is on. it lasts all day and looks the same at 10 o’clock at night as it did at 8 am. But on the flip side this makes it quite difficult to remove. No matter what I do, I always seem to end up with some still clinging on. it just does not want to come off your lashes. I have woken up with panda eyes several times since switching to this mascara.

All in all, I am not particularly impressed with this mascara. I can say for sure that I won’t buy it again. The only thing that I like about it is the wand. Have you tried this one? what did you think about it? I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again soon.
