It has been about a month since I last did a book haul and today I wanted to do another one. Mainly because I am super proud of myself. Since the end of February I have only brought a handful of books! I am really pleased about this and proud of my self-restraint. Hopefully I can keep this up. but today I thought that I would share with you the few books that I have brought. Let’s go
State Of Sorrow by Melinda Sailsbury – Waterstones (£7.99)
This is the latest book by one of my favourite authors. I saw it in Waterstones about a week before its release date and had to get it then and there. This is the first time that I have paid full price for a book in literally years, but I don’t care. I had to have it, I have read it and it was worth it.
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer (in French) – €0.20
For ages now I have been thinking about trying to collect some f my favourite books in different editions and languages and while in France last month I stumbled across a second hand copy of Twilight for just 20 cents so I decided to grab it and start collecting. I am planning to try and read this at some point in the future.
Matilda by Roald Dahl – Kims Books (£2)
The One by Kiera Cass – Amazon (£2.49)
The Smoke Thieves by Sally Green (ARC) – Illumicrate
Blood And Sand by C V Wyk – Illumicrate
Children Of Blood And Bone by Tomi Adeyemi – Waterstone (BOGOHP)
The Astonishing Colour Of After by Emily R X Pan – Waterstones (BOGOHP)
These where actually an easter present. Basically, for easter instead of buying us eggs, my parents give both me and my sister a little bit of cash (what they would have spent on an egg) so that we can buy ourselves something instead. Every year, I buy books with mine. These are the two books that I spent mine on this year.
Together by Julie Cohen – WHSmith (£3.99)
And that is it. that is every book that I have brought since my last haul in March. I think that I have been very good. Especially compared to normal. I am proud of myself. What have you brought recently? I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again very soon.
