February Favourites

Hey Guys!

Another month has been and gone and so, it is time for a monthly favourite posts. February has been a bit weird for me. I have been feeling a bit low and just not really myself basically since the start of the year. I think everything that happened at the end of 2017 has finally caught up with me and I’m just not feeling great within myself. So, this post isn’t going to be very long as I haven’t really been loving much.

Favourite Book

As always, there were a couple of books that really stood out to me in February. i particularly enjoyed Shadowblack by Sebastian De Castell and Tales From The Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennan, Maureen Johnson And Robin Wasserman. Both where brilliant reads and I would highly recommend.

Favourite Album

M.A.N.I.A by Fall Out Boy. I finally brought their latest album right at the start of Feb and I have basically been listening to it nonstop ever since. I fucking love it. can’t stop listening to it. my favourite tracks are Wilson (Expensive Mistakes), HOLD ME TIGHT OR DON’T and Heaven’s Gate, although I love every song. Brilliant album.

Favourite Food

This has got to be mini Lindt chocolate bunnies. All the shops in England are getting in their Easter chocolate and I have been loving the little mini Lindt bunnies. I love Lindt chocolate and these are just the perfect little treat. I only ever need one to satisfy my chocolate craving and they have just been the little boast I have needed when I have been feeling low.

Favourite Activity

I have been really liking walking over the last few weeks (even though I have fucked up my left knee so ever step hurts). I have found that the fresh air and physically moving has been helping to make me feel a bit more human and like myself. I haven’t been walking every day or anything, (except to and from work and the usually stuff) but whenever I have been feeling really low I have forced myself to go for a walk, usually along the beach and it has been helping. I think it is just because it is giving me a chance to escape with my thoughts for a bit.

And that is literally it. I am going away for a few days in a couple of weeks so I am hoping that that time away from everything will really help to reset myself and make me feel a bit more normal. What did you love in February? I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again very soon.
