In honour of valentine’s day, I thought that now would be the perfect time to share my first original tag, My Book Boyfriend’s Tag! I know that there are a few tags like this about already but none of them felt quiet right, so I made my own. Let’s do this do!
This tag is pretty self-explanatory. It is all about all the fictional boys that I love. I have done my book boyfriends but if you decided to do this tag (please, feel free by the way) please switch it to your own sexual preference.
The boy that you would run away and go on an adventure with
Kell Maresh from the Shades Of Magic trilogy
If I was to run away with someone, it would be Kell. He is such an amazing person and would be the perfect companion on any adventure. He is smart and brave but also caring and sensible. You know that you would have an amazing time but he would always keep you safe.
A guy that you think would make an amazing husband
Rhysand from the Court Of Thorns And Roses trilogy
Need I explain this one? Rhys would clearly make the best husband! It is impossible to not love him! You can 100% picture a whole life with him. he is just so caring and kind and romantic. And we know that he would always put you first. He very nearly made number 4 in this tag.
A boy that you shouldn’t love, but you do
Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter
Draco was my first bad boy crush and still to this day I love him. I know that he is a little shit, but my god, I love that sassy little shit. Personally, I like to think that he is not mildly evil, just misguided.
Your perfect match. The boy that you would spend your life with.
James (Jem) Carstairs from The Infernal Devices (and more)
Ah, my one true love! I am not actually joking when I say that I am in love with Jem Carstairs. He is my favourite character from any of the Shadowhunter books. He is just so sweet and kind, he is caring, smart and just so incredible. I absolutely love him. He is just perfect. If I could bring any fictional character to life, it would be him. no real man is ever going to live up to him.
The boy that you had a crush on as a teen
Edward Cullen from the Twilight Saga
Come on, we all had a crush on Edward when we first read Twilight. In fact, my crush has kind of been renewed since I reread the books. I mean, its Edward Cullen, he is the epitome of a teen crush.
A boy that you would have a causal relationship with, but nothing serious.
Christian Grey from Fifty Shades Of Grey
I love Christian, I think that he is brilliant. He is smart and sexy and caring, and clearly very good in bed, but I would never want to have serious relationship with him. He is too controlling and jealous and over the top, but I do think that he can be a good boyfriend
Someone that you have a crush on even though you shouldn’t
Anthony Lockwood from Lockwood & Co
The reason why this one is inappropriate for me is all about age. I am 21 and in the books Lockwood is about 16. I should not have a crush on him, but I do. there is just something about him that you cannot help but find yourself drawn too. If you haven’t already, read the Lockwood & Co books and you will instantly know what I am talking about.
The boy that you would love to have a summer relationship with
Apollo from Percy Jackson
Can you imagine how much fun you would have with Apollo? He is just so sassy and sarcastic but also just seems like good fun. I can 100% see him dragging you out at 3 am just because he wants to go on a road trip or getting drunk with him at a camp fire. I would love to spend a summer with him.
Your Best Boy-Friend
A boy that you love, but would only ever be friends with
Simon Spier from Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda
I absolutely adore Simon. He is a brilliant character and so amazing. I would love to be best friends with him. He is just so funny and sweet and is an all-round good guy.
Your girl crush
Mia Corvere from Nevernight or Delilah (Lila) Bard from the Shades Of Magic trilogy
I couldn’t decide between these two. I love them both. And they are actually very similar. They are both brave and fierce and smart but also really caring and a bit lost. They are both just such brilliant, strong, young woman who I love.
And there we go. That was my Book Boyfriends tag. I am not going to tag anyone specifically (I worry that it makes people feel obligated to participate) but please, feel free to do the tag if you want to. This is all just a bit of fun. I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again soon.
