Today I thought that it was about time that I did my next seasonal post. This time it is the turn of my winter candles. Just in case you are new and have no idea what I am talking about, basically each season I make a series of four posts, each one regarding a certain topic within that season. So, winter nails, spring candles, summer photography, autumn reads and you get the idea. So, without further ado, let’s get to my candles post.
I will be 100% honest with you, I have not been burning many candles lately. I have been working a lot of hours so I haven’t been home much and I just haven’t really been in the mood for anything. I am in a bit of a weird mood at the moment and I am not really motivated to do anything at all. I talked about this briefly in my Winter Nails post and unfortinatly, I am still eeling this way. So this means that there is basically oly been one or two candles that I have been burning recently. But I thought that I would still do this post because this is realy life and is what is happing to me right now. I always try to be honest with you. so, lets get to the candles that I have been reaching for.
The first candle is Pumpkin Peacan Waffle by Candleberry and Co. I have spoken about this one before but my god do I love it. It is, surpisingly, pumpkin scented. It is sweet and spicey and smells exactly like pumpkin pie. I have been burning this throughout autumn and I am still burning it now. I love it. it smells so damn good. And it burns beautifully. What I love about this candle is that you only actually need to burn it for about an hour and the smell then lingers for a hours. I love it.
And the only other scent that I have been burning is Yankee Candles Autumn Nights. This is one of my all time favourite scents. It is amazing. If you have never smelt this one before, you really need to. I cant even describe this one, it is just amazing. It is spicy and warm and just amazing. I love it so much.
And that is it. Those are the only scents that I have been burning so far this winter. What have you been burning? I would love to know (I am noisy as hell). For anyone interested I buy all of my candles from Candle Scentral. They are a little independent store that stock Yankee Candles, Prices Candles, Flamingo Candles and another couple of brands. They are the same price as buying direct from Yankee and so on but they are completely independent. They have a little shop in Sussex and have the friendliest, most helpful staff. Do check them out, they have website that you can order from and they offer free delivery with any order over £35. (http://www.candlescentral.co.uk/). I will see you all again very soon.
