Welcome back! Today I am doing another first impressions post. And this time it is for a hair mask, something we have only done once before on here. The mask in question is by the brand HASK. So, let’s do this.
I don’t use hair masks very often. I just don’t, frankly, I am too lazy. But a few months ago my hair was feeling very dry and limp, and a bit sad. So I decided that maybe it would be a good idea to get a couple of masks and give it a bit of love and attention. It was actually my sister who recommended the HASK ones to me. She has been using them for a couple of years now and she loves them. So, since she speaks so highly of them, I thought that they would be a good one to give a go. I picked up three of them, each in a slighter different version with different properties and so far I have used two of them.
The three that I brought myself were Repairing Deep Conditioner, the Smoothing Deep Conditioner and the Nourishing Deep Conditioner. Although I do know that they do at least one other. I believe it’s one for coloured hair. I have used the Nourishing one and the repairing one so far. And I honestly loved them both. The Nourishing one is coconut oil based and the repairing one is argon oil based. Both of them are very good.
They both leave you hair feeling really soft and conditioned. They also both left my hair feeling stronger, healthier. Which was exactly what I was looking for. I have used them about once a month since buying them and, in general my hair does feel healthier. They do recommend using them every two weeks or something like that, but I can’t afford to use them that often, but once a month is actually fine for my hair. I find that they have a really long conditioning effect. For the first few days after using it my hair is so soft but after about a week that starts to fade a little but an amount of softness stays for a long time. My hair just feels healthier.
I love that each sachet has a different scent and does something different. I love that there are options. It means that you can really target what you want to fix. My only issue with them is that you have to apply it onto wet hair, so in the shower and it is a bit awkward. The sachets get a bit slipping so it is hard to get all the product out and you then have to try and judge when 10 mins is (I usually listen to music when I’m doing them and guess that around 3-4 songs will be about the right amount of time. But besides that, I really like them.
I will definitely be incorporating this into my general routine now. My hair feels so much nicer since I started using these. If you are looking for a good hair mask, look at these. I will warn you that they are about £5 each, but they are regularly on offer. They are well worth a try. I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again very soon.
