Hey Guys!

Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo – Kim’s Books (£2)

Why The Whales Came by Michael Morpurgo – Kim’s Books (£2.50)

Kim’s books is a little second hand book shop in Sussex. They have a few stores dotted around and whenever I see one, I have to go in. I love it. it is a book lovers dream. My favourite is the one in Arundel. It is a converted house so it is 4 floors, rickety staircases, little rooms just full of books, old and new mixed together. I fucking love it. and even better, the prices are great. It is where I get all my children’s classics, and my potter hardbacks. And Kensukes Kingdom is one that I read at about 10 and loved and I have been wanting to reread for years. I am very happy to have found it and it is like new. I am very happy.

Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett – ASDA (2 for £7)

Nemesis by Brendan Reichs – ASDA (2 for £7)

S.T.A.G.S by M A Bennett – Waterstones (BOGOHP (Gift Card))

Been Here All Along by Sandy Hall – Waterstones (BOGOHP (Gift Card))

Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman – Amazon (3 for £10)

This is the Golden Compass, but has a different name in the UK

The Queen’s Poisoner by Jeff Wheeler – Amazon (3 for £10)

Library Of Souls by Ransom Riggs – Amazon (3 for £10)

Eragon by Christopher Paolini – Amazon (£2.39)

The Queen Of Hearts by Colleen Oakes – Charity Shop (£1)

The Fate Of The Tearling by Erika Johansen – Charity Shop (£1)

Yes, I did by the third in a series before reading, or even owning, the first two book. A hardback for £1 in like new condition was too good an opportunity to miss. I know I want to read these books at some point and I can get the first two in matching hardbacks for about £3 each online, so I have no regrets…except I have no idea where to put it at the moment lol.

An Abundance Of Katherines by John Green – Charity Shop (CR UK) (£1.25)

Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green – Charity Shop (CR UK) (£1.25)

Looking For Alaska by John Green – Charity Shop (CR UK) (£1.25)

King Of The Cloud Forest by Michael Morpurgo – Sussex Heritage Centre (£1)

The Miraculas Journy Of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo – Sussex Heritage Centre (£1)

City Of Glass by Cassandra Clare – Sussex Heritage Centre (£1)

City Of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare – Sussex Heritage Centre (£1)

Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare – Sussex Heritage Centre (£1)

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare – Sussex Heritage Centre (£1)

Yes, I have already read these books and yes, I do already own them. But I brought them again lol. I currently own both series in the new spine art editions and I love them. They are beautiful. But, since Clare is still writing Shadowhunter books, all the new ones that are released are released in covers that match or are similar to the original covers of the series, so I have decided to rebuy both in the original covers so that my shelves annoy me slightly less….if that makes since. I am trying to get them cheap as I have already brought them once. These where the only 4 the shop had and they where on clearance, hence why they where only £1 each.

The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon – The Works (£1)

Young Sherlock: Knife Edge by Andrew Lane – The Works (£1)

And there we have it. those are all the books that I have brought over the last few weeks. I am going to try and be a lot stricter on my book buying ban from now on. Since it is coming up to Christmas if I keep buying books, my family may murder me lol. Also, I did recently get rid of a lot of books. One load got a book unhaul post, the other I forgot to do but all in all I think I got rid of around 30 books all together, so it’s not all bad lol. What have you brought recently? Anything I should check out? I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again soon.
