Insanely Popular Books That I haven’t Read….Yet

Hey Guys!

Recently I have been thinking a lot about books and mores specifically, popular books that I want to read, but haven’t. at least not yet. So today I thought that I would share my shame with you and tell you about some of the insanely popular books, that everybody has read and loved, that I have not read yet. And, if there is a reason why I haven’t read it, then tell you that as well. Let’s go!

The Six Of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo

This is one that I really really want to read. the only reason why I am yet to pick it up is because I decided that is I am going to read a book from the Greisha Universe, I should start with the original Greisha Trilogy. I know that you don’t need to, but I know if I don’t read them first, chances are I never will. I do now own Shadow And Bone and I am planning to pick it up soon so hopefully I will get to this duology soon.

The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

Again, this is one that I am hoping to pick up over the next couple of months. Up until about six months ago I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to pick this series up (I read the Shiver trilogy back in the day so I was kind of put off Stiefvater because of it) but after hearing nothing but good things about this series and hearing so many book tubers raving about it I decided to give it a go. I am planning on reading it this autumn.

Daughter Of Smoke And Bone by Lanie Taylor

This is another trilogy that I have never been able to decide if I did want to read or not. My sister is constantly telling me to read them, but I have never been sure. I have always vaguely thought that I would read them eventually, but I am in no hurry. Maybe next year I will get around to reading them

This Savage Song by V E Schwab

This one hurts my soul. I only really discovered Schwab this year and I have completely fallen in love with her since reading the Shades Of Magic trilogy. I want to read all her work and it makes me really sad that so far I have only read ADSOM. I need to pick up this duology!

History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

This is a strange one. I have wanted to read this one ever since it came out. I even own it. I just haven’t gotten around to picking it up yet. Which is really stupid because I know that I am going to love it. and the worst part….I have no immediate plans to read it. my god I suck!

Throne Of Glass by Sarah J Maas

I actually have a real reason for this one! I want to read this series and I will, but I have decided to wait until the series is finished. Maas keeps adding more and more books to this series and I honestly don’t know if I am going to want to read a series this long so I have decided to wait and then if it still appeals to me once they are all out, I will pick them up. I do own two of the books already (1 and 4 (I got 4 for £1)), so hopefully I will get to them eventually.

Legend Complete

Legend by Marie Lu

For this one it is because I have been put off by her other trilogy. I read The Young Elite earlier this year and although I liked the writing style and the general concept for the books, I hated the main character so much that it meant that I ended up hating the books. And it has put me off. I own the whole Legend trilogy so I will read them eventually….just need to psych myself up first.

And those are just a few of the popular books that I haven’t read yet, but that I am planning to….eventually. let me know if you would like me to do this again as there are many other popular books that I haven’t read yet. Are there any super popular books that you think I should pick up? I hope that you have enjoyed todays post and I will see you all again very soon.
