Photo Transfer To Wood

Hey Guys!
It’s day 17! This week has been very DIY based, and today is no different. This one is so adorable and makes such a sweet gift. You could do this on large planks or little coasters and they are just so cute. They could be amazing gifts for a family member, like a grandparent. So here we go

What you need:
Photo (laser printed)
Gell Medium
Paint Brush
Mod Podge Finish

How to make:

  1. Paint a think layer of the cell medium into your photo
  2. Gently place the photo onto the wood
  3. Use a ruler to CAREFULLY smooth it out
  4. Let it dry over night
  5. Wipe a wet cloth over the picture repeatedly until all the paper has worn off
  6. Once all the paper has been rubber off and the photo is smooth, seal it with mod podge
  7. Leave to dry for a few hours
  8. Add any embellishments

And that’s it. It can take a few attempts to get it right, but once you have the technique down, it is super easy. I love these. As always, if you make these I would love to see the outcome. Tag me on Instagram or Twitter or use #efrphototransfer. I will see you all again tomorrow
